The Dog Day Camp at At Last Farm includes an indoor doggy lounge, large outside kennels and play areas. The property also includes cross fenced fields and a lower pasture to allow traveling dogs to work off some of that pent up energy. There is plenty of room to fetch a ball or Frisbee or just run. |

Like most dog day care facilities the farm requires vaccination records and tests dogs for sociability. There is a veterinarian on call. At Last Farms in not licensed for overnight boarding in part because of its location in the beautiful coastal zone.
In time Kanitz hopes to offer obedience and agility training at the Farm. She also hopes to be able to offer package deals for visiting dogs and their owners with local inns, wineries and restaurants. “The business is still evolving,” says Kanitz, “For now I am concentrating on providing the best day camp experience around. I just love watching city dogs come in and enjoy all the news sights, sounds and smells they find on the farm.”
At Last Farm’s Dog Day Camp is open Wednesday – Sunday from 9 am – 5 pm. Reservations are required. Special evening dining hours are available by appointment.
